Here's our story, from the person who tells it best - David, our founder.

"I have suffered for years with problematic skin"

For years, I have suffered with problematic skin - specifically on my hands.

When I worked as a chef, I was putting my hands through it on a daily basis. The consistent washing, paired with cold winter weather, would leave my skin so dry and chapped that it would split open and become very sore.

Later on in life, I started to experience the same issues with my legs, which can become very dry and irritated.

Having a skin condition like this made me embarrassed. I was always worried what people would think, especially when I had to shake their hands.

I inherited these conditions from my Mum. She works on a sheep farm so her dry skin was exacerbated by the lanolin in sheep’s wool, combined with being outside and coming into contact with cold water. It had such a detrimental effect on her hands. I remember her fingers being covered in plasters where they were so sore, split and dry.

We tried out many treatments to try to alleviate these problems but found that most formulas on the market either did not work, were too greasy, used poor quality ingredients or made me react even worse.

Enough was enough, it was time to find my own solution.

I always wanted to create a skin-care product that could do more. A balm versatile enough to care for different needs without relying on a cupboard full of creams and lotions. After years of development, I finally perfected the formula, made with 100% natural, organic ingredients.

The blend is rooted in traditional Korean skincare formulations and carefully adapted for everyday use here in the UK. It became the foundation for WONDERBALM, a product designed to be simple, effective and truly kind to the skin.

I could'nt believe it had worked so quickly

I sent my Mum a sample to try and after just a week she was asking me for more. It was already really helping her skin and she was thrilled to see the changes in such a short period of time.

Works a treat

I always find lip balms don't last very long once applied but this one is just perfect. It feels lovely when applied and lasts much longer than the one I used to use. Very happy with my new lip balm.

Great for eczema

I have extremely dry eczema prone skin. I've found Wonderbalm is a lovely product to use on damp skin after the shower to lock in moisture and stop my skin feeling so crispy🤣 it's also a great barrier if your someone who gets dry hands from over washing is smells lovely and lemony without irritating which is rare for me. Can feel a bit greasy but I don't mind too much. It was a lovely product to use on holiday after a long day of sun exposure I was gifted my poor to review but i would repurchase.
